You deserve to live a life you actually love.

welcome friend

Individuals living with anxiety, depression, or chronic stress.

Those carrying trauma, especially from childhood or complex life experiences.

Clients with chronic illness who are navigating both physical and emotional pain.

Anyone seeking emotional freedom, nervous system healing, and a deeper connection to themselves.

At Catalyst, we support individuals navigating the messy middle of healing. You might be in early sobriety. You might be carrying trauma that no one else can see. You might be exhausted from holding it all together.

If that sounds like you — you're in the right place.

Who We Serve

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be ready to get honest, get curious, and get supported.

People exploring sobriety or in recovery from substance use.

At Catalyst, we believe that with the right support and the willingness to do the work, you can rewire your brain, rewrite old narratives, and step into a life that finally feels like yours.

I Believe Everyone Has a Spark + the Power to Change

HERE'S HOW I CAN HELP YOU

TRANSFORMATION

This is where things start to shift. Where new tools replace old coping. Where your nervous system learns safety. Where healing isn’t just something you talk about — it’s something you live.

AWARENESS

This is where we slow down, get honest, and start to notice the patterns — the ones that helped you survive but are now keeping you stuck.

REFLECTION

Together, we dig deeper. We ask the hard questions. We make sense of your story without shame — so you can understand where your beliefs came from and decide what still deserves a place in your life.

Empower your present, design your future

CR
Client since 2023

I’ve been working with Megan since 2023. Having been through a lot of therapy over the years, I didn’t expect miracles. Therapy is therapy. I believe Megan has made a huge difference, however.. She pushes me to confront the emotions that make me uncomfortable. That discomfort has resulted in a lot of personal growth. Staying in therapy for 2 years is a lifetime achievement.

KIND WORDS FROM MY CLIENTS

PRIVATE-PAY

Private-pay is a great option for those who do not want a formal diagnosis. No involvement with insurance allows our sessions to be completely secure and confidential, less paperwork (for both of us), and a great option for those who have a security clearance or specific job requirements. Private pay allows you the freedom to have unlimited sessions and not be affected by any insurance policy changes. It also reduces any potential of life insurance policies being affected.

  • $150 for couples session
  • BCBS
  • Aetna
  • Optum
  • United Healthcare
  • Cigna
  • *TRICARE - I am a certified non-network provider for Tricare. This means I can bill Tricare directly for services, but you may have a co-pay or deductible that you typically wouldn’t have for in-network providers.
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • *I can provide a superbill for other networks for you to send in and get reimbursed
Benefits to Telehealth therapy sessions:
  • You can do therapy in the comfort of your own home, with your emotional support animals.
  • No traffic.
  • Saves money on gas.
  • Sweatpants (that goes for both of us).
  • You could squeeze it into your work day or lunch break.
  • We can still have session, even if either of us aren’t feeling the best.
  • You can snack or make another cup of coffee during session.

Things to consider:
  • There is definitely something special about in-person therapy sessions. I try to mimic that the best I can in Telehealth sessions.
  • Confidentiality is always at risk during Telehealth sessions. On my end, you can be assured that I am in my private home office, with the sound machine on right outside my door.
  • A strong internet connection is crucial for this to work well. If this is not something you have access to, please pursue someone holding in-person sessions.

I am currently only offering Telehealth sessions at the moment.

Why telehealth?

If I've already done IOP and therapy before, how is this any different?

You’ve done therapy before — but maybe not with the right support, or at the right time. Maybe you needed to hear things layered, or got what you needed the first time and now you're ready to go deeper.  This is different because you’re different. At Catalyst, we don’t skim the surface — we build real connection and do the deep work when you’re ready to actually heal.

I have a hard time opening up? Will therapy still help me?

If you're willing to show up and give it a chance, then theres a high chance therapy can help. Opening up to a stranger can be difficult, thats why we use the first few sessions to get to know each other. Feeling safe in session is the first priority.

Ever heard the phrase "no pain no gain?" Pain may not be the right word, but discomfort certainly is.

DOES IT SOUND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?

and Other Questions Clients Ask...

HOW CAN THERAPY HELP ME?

What can I expect in my first therapy session?

Your first few sessions will be more of a getting-to-know-you conversation. We’ll talk about what brings you in, any history that feels important, and your goals for therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—we’ll go at your pace.

How long are sessions, and how often will we meet?

Sessions are typically 55 minutes, once a week for the first 3-6 months. Frequency can be adjusted based on your needs, goals, and schedule.

How do I know if therapy is working?

You might start noticing shifts in how you think, feel, and respond to situations. Therapy isn’t always linear—some weeks feel like breakthroughs, others feel slower. Progress often looks like better insight, healthier boundaries, and more emotional regulation.

Is everything I say confidential?

Yes—with a few exceptions for safety. What you share stays between us unless:
  • You are a danger to yourself or someone else
  • There’s abuse of a child, elder, or dependent adult
  • A court subpoenas records
We’ll go over all of this clearly in your first session.

What if I don’t “click” with my therapist?

A strong connection is key. If it doesn’t feel like a good fit, that’s okay—we’ll talk about it and, if needed, help connect you with someone who might be a better match. You deserve a therapist who gets you.

Can therapy help with [insert issue—anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationships]?

Most likely, yes. Therapy can support you through a wide range of struggles—big and small. If you’re unsure, reach out. We’ll help clarify whether therapy is right for your situation.

What if I don't know what to talk about?

That’s more common than you think. You don’t need to have an agenda. Sometimes just showing up is the work. Your therapist will guide the conversation and help you explore what’s beneath the surface.

How long will I be in therapy?

There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some people come for a few months to work through something specific; others stay longer for deeper growth. We’ll regularly check in to assess where you are and what’s working.

What if I get emotional or cry in session?

That’s totally okay. Therapy is a space where all feelings are welcome. Crying isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s often a sign that healing is happening.

Do you take insurance?

We do accept most insurances. We are in network with most Aetna, BCBS, UHC, and Cigna plans. We are not in network with any medicaid plans. We are a certified out of network provider with Tricare - which means we can bill Tricare for you, but you may have a copay or deductible to meet. If we are not in network with your plan, we can provide superbills for potential reimbursement.

Where do we meet for sessions?

Great question! Right now, we only provide virtual therapy. You'll be responsible to find a place you feel comfortable and safe to join session. You will get a unique link about 10 minutes before our session begins that takes you into a HIPAA compliant video session through my EHR, Simple Practice. We will meet through video for sessions - no traffic, no having to leave your house or office. Just schedule me into your calendar as an hour block! P.S. your animals are ALWAYS welcome to join!!
